Principal Coffman's FOCUSMrs. Masterman's fifth grade drama students enjoy the outdoor classroom while FOCUSING on story starters for their seven minute plays.
Please welcome Carolyn Caravelli as our new Listening and Spoken Language Teacher. Ms. Caravelli’s background is in deaf education, specializing in LSL and reading. She will be instructing our kindergarten students with hearing impairments.
Tami Scherer is our new HILIA Hearing Facilitator. She will provide her expertise in the area of deaf education to staff members at the Lab Schools, as well as other local district teachers who implement programming for students that are deaf and hard of hearing.
Dr. Ali Sherren joins us as our new Educational Audiologist. Dr. Sherren will be providing services to our students and area district students who are deaf and hard of hearing by providing aural rehabilitation and maintaining their assistive listening equipment.
FOCUSING on helping others... Eighth grade students in Mrs. Finnegan-Boyes' art class helped preschoolers make clay caterpillars.
HOLAAngelica Delatorre-Im joins the Metcalf foreign language staff and will teach 8th grade Spanish. She is also a faculty associate at U-High and has taught at Unit 5. Welcome to Metcalf!
